Auto-Sync Feature

Stop manually creating posts. Let Devlog.ist do it for you!

What is Auto-Sync?

Auto-sync automatically:

  1. Fetches your latest GitHub activity
  2. Generates posts using AI
  3. Saves them as drafts (or publishes directly)

All on a schedule you control.

Configuration

Enable Auto-Sync

In Account Settings, toggle "Auto-Sync" and configure:

  • Frequency: Daily or Weekly
  • Time: When to run (in your timezone)
  • Source: Which activity types to include

Brave Mode Integration

Auto-sync respects your Brave Mode setting:

  • Brave Mode OFF: Posts are saved as Drafts for review
  • Brave Mode ON: Posts are Published immediately

How It Works

6:00 AM - Auto-sync triggers
6:01 AM - Fetch new commits, PRs, reviews
6:02 AM - AI generates posts
6:03 AM - Posts created (Draft or Published)
6:04 AM - Email notification sent

Email Notifications

After each auto-sync run, you receive an email with:

  • Number of posts generated
  • Post titles and summaries
  • Quick links to review/edit

Best Practices

  1. Start with Brave Mode OFF - Review posts before publishing
  2. Set consistent timing - Your audience learns when to expect content
  3. Customize your example post - AI uses it as a style reference

Requirements

Auto-sync is available on:

  • Pro Monthly
  • Pro Annual
  • Lifetime

Free users can use manual sync with the same AI generation.

Set it up today and never miss sharing your work again!
